Spicy Pecans
(Makes 2 Cups)
(Makes 2 Cups)
2 tblsp butter
1 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic, granulated
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tblsp chili powder
2 cups pecans
NOTES: I used part Calabrian chili and Kashmiri chili powder that I ground myself.
Pre-heat the oven to 300°F.
In a sauce pan add the butter and all the spices
Saute the spices in the butter while the butter is melting. Now add the pecans. Turn off the heat and finish mixing well until all the pecans are coated as evenly as possible.
Pour on to a foil or parchment paper lined cookie sheet, making sure they are in one layer and not overlapping and place into the oven for around 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes flip the pecans around and rearrange in a single layer. after 20 minutes in the oven, check every 4 minutes so they don't burn.
