Robert's Roasted Green Beans
(Serves 6-8)


1 lb Green Beans, trimmed of ends, rinsed, and dried off
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tblsp Ginger, minced fine or grated
3 tsp Garlic oil
1 tsp salt
1 tblsp Hoisin Sauce
1 tsp, ground Sichuan peppercorns

Garnish 2 tblsp cilantro, chopped or minced, optional
2 tblsp chopped or crushed Thai cashews from Trader Joes, optional


NOTES: You can use regular cashews and add them to your stir fry while frying them as they are not coated with Thai spices like the Trader Joe Thai Cashews. 
 

Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
In a bowl combine everything except the green beans and garnish. Mix well and then coat the green beans by tossing in the mixture. Lay out on a foil covered cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flip over and finish baking for 10 more minutes.
You may garnish with the optional ingredients if you are using them, sprinkle the Thai cashews and fresh chopped cilantro leaves over the top.
